Submissions
New Guard Press welcomes guest submissions from college students and young professionals. Follow the guidelines below to have your article reviewed for publication. Submission of an article does not guarantee publication by New Guard Press.
The ideal submission:
- Addresses current topics in the broader political and cultural landscape.
- Reads through the news into the underlying philosophies and religious principles.
- Promotes a positive vision for politics and culture.
- Is written in a unique, intelligent, and conversational style.
- Articulates a complex topic in an understandable way.
- Opens with a compelling lede.
- Is between 800 and 1,000 words.
New Guard Press does not accept:
- Academic articles
- News stories
- Book reviews
- Works of fiction
- Multi-part series
How to send in a submission
Send an email to editor@newguardpress.com with a link to a Google Doc that contains your article. Grant viewing permission to editor@newguardpress.com.
Please include the word “submission” in the subject line of your email.
Our response
You will get a reply to your email within 7 business days. In the meantime, please do not submit your article to any other publications until you hear back from New Guard Press.
If your article is rejected, we welcome future submissions, but please do not submit the same article multiple times.
