Ayaan is a political science student at UC Berkeley with a steadfast commitment to religious freedom, parental rights, and the right to life. Originally from California’s East Bay, Ayaan brings a deep reverence for America’s founding principles to both campus activism and policy advocacy. In high school, he engaged in campus activism by writing for The Californian, his school’s newspaper, where he defended conservative positions and promoted civil discourse in a predominantly liberal environment As Chairman of Berkeley’s Young Americans for Freedom, he bridges intellectual conservatism with grassroots energy. He is a member of the Federalist Society, where he follows debates on constitutional law and judicial philosophy. Ayaan’s work, rooted in a love for law, liberty, and the republic, seeks to restore moral clarity to public life and preserve America’s moral foundations.
