On April 16th, New Guard Press announced its inaugural class of Chesterton Media Fellows. Over the next six months, NGP will provide the four Chesterton Fellows with media training, and them place their op-eds in national outlets.

Brooke Brandtjen is a writer and journalist from Wisconsin who focuses primarily on culture, politics, and religion. Currently, she is a Senior Contributor at New Guard Press. She has been published in a variety of conservative outlets including The Daily Wire, The Federalist, and The Blaze. Cooper Cobbs is a rising junior at Patrick Henry College studying journalism. In the fall, he will be the Editor-in-Chief of PHC’s student paper the Herald, and is the Head Content Editor of Aletheia, PHC’s Classical Liberal Arts Journal. He competes on the Varsity Debate and Moot Court Teams for PHC, is the Speaker of PHC’s Student Senate, enjoys discussing theology with friends, and reading books. Cooper Moore is an associate with Cornerstone Government Affairs. He is a graduate from Nicholls State University. He has previously worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator John Kennedy and was an intern at The Heritage Foundation. Cooper was also a Civitas Fellow at the Center for Public Justice. Outside of the office, Cooper enjoys hiking, going to Mass, and pondering life’s greatest questions. He currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with his wife Allie. Grace Plath is a rising senior at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Virginia, majoring in Journalism. She’s passionate about the preservation of the family and the impact it has on society, exploring how worldviews shape society, and the beauty of everyday life. In her spare time, she loves reading great books, traveling, cooking and trying new foods, learning about history and theology, and spending time with family and friends.
